The beautiful Oregon coast.  There were multitudes of sea lions below the rock wall.  Rebecca joined us on this leg of the vacation.

David loved the trees of Oregon.  This location had huge stumps from the primeval forest that once stood here.

The real reason we came to Oregon - Becca heard there was great sandboarding there.  When most people think of speed, they don't think sand.  Lots of wax (partially) makes up for its limitations.

This is what you look like when you wipe-out while sandboarding.

About two hours before the ATVs turn off their engines.

We took a jaunt up to Mt. Saint Helens and were more impressed than we expected.  The huge numbers of fallen trees are gone but the vast ash deposits remain.

Rifle Falls in western Colorado, a nice diversion on the long trek home.
